What to Expect at Complete Chiropractic

Welcome mat

You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door.

Your First Visit

Welcome to Complete Chiropractic. Before you even arrive, Lisa is working hard to make sure your first visit goes smoothly and is a pleasant experience. When you call to book your appointment, she will explain how to access our new patient forms on this website.

Here’s what you can do to prepare for your visit:

  • Fill out a two-page medical history form
  • Sign the consent form
  • Bring your health insurance cards so that we can make a copy
  • Set aside about 45 – 60 minutes for your visit

Once you arrive we will….

  • Ensure your paperwork is complete
  • Enter your information in the computer
  • Create a chart for you
  • Take a copy of your insurance card and ID

Shortly after you arrive, you’ll see Dr. Robertson for:

  • A comprehensive chiropractic examination
  • A consultation where he will listen to your concerns and answer your questions
  • X-rays (if needed) which will help him diagnose your issues
  • Chiropractic adjustment to immediately address your pain
  • Therapies, as necessary, to help you recover quickly and fully

The effects of your first adjustment and therapies could last for minutes, hours, or even a day or two. Every patient’s body responds differently to care, initially. For this reason, Dr. Robertson likes to see each patient again within two-three days of your first visit, to evaluate how your first 24-48 hours of treatment have played out.

The Follow-up Visit

When you arrive for your second visit, Dr. Robertson will:

  • Review your X-rays with you, if he hasn’t already done so
  • Ask how you are feeling at that point
  • Adjust you and provide therapies again
  • Recommend a two-week trial of therapy

Depending on the issue, usually a two-week trial of therapy, including chiropractic adjustments and therapies or other specific recommendations are layed out.  This time period will give both you and Dr. Robertson a good view of how well your body will respond to chiropractic care for the treatment of your pain and issues. After these these two weeks, he’ll re-evaluate your condition and make a recommendation for further care if needed.
